A direct way to control scans of your site, request report changes, or contact us about security.
Stop future scans
CrawlWise identifies its requests as CrawlWiseBot/1.0 and links to this page for bot details. Before auditing any page, including key pages, it checks your robots file. To opt out, add this rule to /robots.txt:
User-agent: CrawlWiseBot
Disallow: /We respect the rule on future audit attempts for the submitted URL and any key pages. It does not remove an existing report; contact us below for that.
Remove or correct a report
What a scan stores and how long it is kept is described on the Privacy page.
Page owners can request removal, correction, or help making a report private. Include:
- the report link, if you have it;
- the target page;
- whether you want removal, correction or another change;
- any context that helps us understand the request.
You do not need to send identity documents, passwords or other sensitive information.
We aim to respond within 48 hours. Reports are private links and expire after 30 days.
Report abusive use
If a CrawlWise scan is causing harm or targeting a page that should not be scanned, email the target URL, approximate time and timezone, and any report link. Include what happened and any request details you can share. We will investigate and take steps to stop repeat requests while we review it.

Security disclosure
For vulnerabilities in CrawlWise itself, send a private report to contact@crawlwise.dev. Include affected URLs, reproduction steps and impact. Do not include live credentials or customer data. Please give us a chance to investigate before making the details public.
We aim to acknowledge safety reports within 48 hours.
